Bottling the 2024 Vintage

Reaching this moment has been quite surreal. Despite MarAmi’s journey starting back in 2023, this summer marked the first official bottling of MarAmi. Working through all the puzzle pieces of bottle and cork selection, label design, orchestrating the logistics of getting the gold rim silkscreened and having everything delivered on time seemed to provide me with a never ending to-do list. Not to mention actually working with our winemakers to make a delicious drink.

Though seeing how everything came together, and finally being able to hold a finished bottle of wine in my hand caused me to pause for a moment. I had a realization that this was only the first vintage, and there were many more to come. Truthfully, I shuddered for a moment thinking about organizing all the logistics again, but I was calmed by the fact that I at last had something I could share with my family, all our partners who got us here, and all the people who may come to visit MarAmi in the future. This first vintage marked our success in overcoming all of the challenges of starting a wine business, and it is a moment I will no doubt smile and think back upon with fondness.

Also now I actually get to drink our wine!
